Berjaya Waterfront Hotel Distributing Steaming Hot Bubur Lambuk To The Community

JOHOR BAHRU, June 2016 – In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru for the 4th year shared the joy of Ramadan by distributing free Bubur Lambuk to the Stulang Laut community. The event is jointly organized with Surau An-Nur, Stulang Laut.

“The activity of cooking and distributing bubur lambuk during Ramadan is to promote the spirit of goodwill and community togetherness particularly during the holy month. This activity is also one of the hotel’s community service efforts,” said Mr. Dev Singh, General Manager of Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru.

“We should not forget to play our part by giving our unceasing support towards the city and community despite the hectic pace of life, as a small gesture can often make a great difference in another’s life,” his added.

A total of 600 containers of bubur lambuk was prepared and distributed by volunteered staff including General Manager and Department Heads to the community. The delicacy is prepared and led by Chef Noor Hisham and his team.

Bubur Lambuk is also featured at ‘Nostalgia Juadah Ibunda’ buffet dinner which is available from 6th June-5th July 2016. The buffet dinner is only priced at MYR88.00 nett for adult and MYR45.00 nett for children.
