BookDoc, the Trusted Medical Companion for Tourists Teams Up with Berjaya Hotels & Resorts for a Worry-Free Traveling Experience

Selangor, Monday, August 1, 2016: Berjaya Hotels & Resorts and BookDoc have entered into a partnership to bring convenient and accessible healthcare to local and foreign tourists in the country in creating a seamless travel experience. Berjaya Hotels & Resorts is a leading hospitality brand with internationally renowned hotels and resorts across 6 countries and 11 unique destinations, while BookDoc is a home-grown online healthcare platform, aimed to connect customers with the healthcare professionals of their choice. BookDoc was recently officiated by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture as the Trusted Medical Companion for Tourists with presence in 17 cities in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Through this partnership, guests at the selected Berjaya Hotels & Resorts properties will have access to an unbiased searchable lists of doctors, dentists and practitioners of complementary medicine, clinics and hospitals within the vicinity at one’s fingertips. BookDoc enables users to search nearby clinics and medical practitioners, book an appointment online as well as navigate to the selected clinic by GPS service or taxi service. This service aims to provide convenience and hassle-free travel experience to tourists who may not be familiar with the health services available at their destinations in the event they need to seek medical assistance.

This free user-friendly healthcare platform is available online and on mobile app, and comes complete with functions such as email, call, navigation and taxi service. This service is available at five properties of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, namely Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur and ANSA Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Langkawi Resort, Georgetown City Hotel, Penang and Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru.
