ORGANISERS of the region’s first online public-voting wedding contest, Love Me Do! at www.lovemedo.com.my , will announce the top seven couples tomorrow.

The contest, conceptualised by Berjaya Hotels & Resorts marketing communications director Thang Han-Ni and his team, offers one of the seven finalists a rare opportunity to win a designer beach wedding at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort.

Exciting activities await the seven lucky couples. The brides-to-be will have a wedding gown-fitting session sponsored by That Special Occasion.

And as a memento of their big day, a wedding photography session with renowned wedding photo-journalist Edmund Tham will be scheduled on Feb 5 and 6.

The "stars" of the day will be styled by make-up professionals of Shu Uemura and hairstylists of Centro for L’Oreal Professional throughout the photo-shoot.

Four of the seven couples will be taken to Berjaya Hills to have a highland-castle wedding theme photography session and the rest will be photographed in chic and cosmopolitan style at Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Convention Centre.

The seven brides-to-be will also be treated to a hi-tea hosted by The Loaf at Pavilion on Feb 11, during which they will be given essential beauty and skincare tips by Shu Uemura for their "big day".

Thang said the top seven couples were picked from a field of 31 who showed hidden talents, quirky acting and singing skills in the videos they submitted.

The finalists will be able to blog about their experiences at www.lovemedo.com.my  to let the public gain insight into their characters and personalities.

Meanwhile, a lucky FLY FM listener will stand a chance to be rewarded by Berjaya Hotels & Resorts with a three-day, two-night stay for two at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort (worth RM2,000).

All listeners have to do to be in the running for the reward is to predict the winning couple of the Love Me Do! contest.

The contest will run on FLY FM’s website from Feb 9 to 13.

Listeners will need to select one favourite couple from the top seven listed and make a prediction.

The correct prediction with the best slogan wins a free holiday trip.
