Spreading over 28 hectares, it is home to over 3,600 mammals, birds and reptiles, including rare and endangered species.

This district on the bank of historic Singapore River begins with a laid-back yet bustling fishing village some 150 years ago and today basks in its colourful rows of riverfront cafes, bars and retail shops. In the evening, theme pubs and bars come alive with classic rock, hard rock, the blues and music from the 60s.
