ASAH WATERFALL This place is magnificent as seven rivers that wind their way through the islands forest meet here and form the waterfall. It is said that this is the waterfall that served as the background to the song “Bali Hai” in the olden movie South Pacific. It is spectacularly beautiful and after a 40 minute hike from Kampung Mukut, a small local village, it is a good place to stop and enjoy the cool water. Take some time to stop at the village as it is very quaint with well tended gardens surrounding wooden huts and very friendly locals who speak a little English. |
