A. SEAFOOD TOM YAM FOOD RECIPE
Ingredients
  • 2 pieces kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 slices galangal
  • 1 piece lemongrass (break and cut into 2)
  • 200 gram seafood (prawn and squid)
  • 1 piece tomato (cut into 8)
  • 30 gram spring onion (cut thin slice)
  • 5 gram red onion (cut thin slice)
  • 50 gram mushroom
  • 2 tbsp tom yam paste
  • 1 piece chili padi
  • 1 piece Chinese parsley
  • 2tbsp fish sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 5 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 3tbsp lime juice

 

Instructions
1. In a saucepan over the heat, add 5 cups of water, then put lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, Chinese parsley, red onion, galangal and mix for 1 minute.

2. When the water is boiling, add tom yam paste, fish sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and salt and wait for 2 or 3 minutes. Then add 
sliced tomato, mushroom, and seafood to heat up for about 2 or 3 minutes. Remove from heat, then add milk, lime juice, chilli padi then adjust seasoning to taste.

3. Scoop the soup in a serving bowl and finally sprinkle some spring onion and Chinese parsley on top.
