Berjaya Langkawi Resort Held Luncheon For Children With Special Needs

Twenty five special needs children, accompanied by their eight teachers enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch special prepared by the resort’s Chef on Friday, 26th August 2016 in the resort’s function room.

The students from the age of 7 to 12 years old is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, Autism and Slow Learners are from Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Perak, Batu Kurau, Perak.

They are on a three days educational trip to Langkawi Island visiting places of interest.

Area General Manager, Mr. Chris Niuh said, “We may not realize it but simple gestures of kindness like this make us feel grateful and blessed. The more we give, the more we will receive. Our generosity will neither make us belittled; instead noble intentions and actions like this will make us selfless and responsible individuals.”

The management team whom we there to receive the children earlier and during their departure were delighted that contributions and thoughtful gestures as such done by the resort can mean a world to these special needs children.
