Unforgettable Iftar & Raya Treats For Special Needs Children At The Berjaya Langkawi Resort
Langkawi, May 2019 – In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, BERJAYA LANGKAWI RESORT brought cheers to 55 kids with special needs from SMK Tunku Putra and SMK Kelibang on 15th May, 2019. The children were treated to a bountiful Iftar buffet spread specially prepared by the Executive Sous Chef and his kitchen brigade. This event is part of Berjaya Langkawi Resort’s annual Corporate Responsibility efforts which helps and gives back to the local community.
Resort’s General Manager, Mr Zaharudin Abdul Jalil and his team were present to break fast with the children and their teachers. The event also captured the essence of Ramadhan with added Hari Raya trimmings.
Mr Zaharudin said “upon seeing the happy faces of the children is reward enough for the Berjaya Langkawi team members and we are very proud to host this yearly event with open hearts.
The children also had the opportunity to showcase their talents by performing various acts throughout the evening. As a parting gift, the children received duit raya from Mr Zaharudin.
The evening ended with a group photo session and later children leaving the Resort feeling contented after a memorable evening.
