Look who’s here? MasterChef India in Berjaya Langkawi Resort.

If you are a big fan of Masterchef series, you would certainly be glad to know that MasterChef India had a brief sojourn stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort and had an amazing alfresco dining experience at the resort’s Pahn-Thai Restaurant recently.

Tourism Malaysia Mumbai together with Cox & Kings India Ltd., as part of its MasterChef Travel, recently organized a specially designed culinary themed holiday to the legendary Island of Langkawi along with the MasterChef India, Ms Shipra Khanna winner of the MasterChef India Season 2 series for a globetrotting season.

‘Enroute Malaysia’ is a specially designed culinary food trail holiday which offers an opportunity to discover local cuisines while explore interesting sights with the winner of the food show MasterChef India, Ms Shipra together with the local culinary experts from the hotel industry and also cooks represented from the famous restaurants in the Langkawi Island.

The tour has been designed to include a combination of cooking demonstrations from the MasterChef visiting places of attractions as well as authentic cuisine preparations from the local experts with the MasterChef.

According to MasterChef, Ms Shirpa, “This is a great idea of blending culture and cuisine. For people who have interest in food, this would be an ideal platform to explore the hidden treasures of cuisine across international borders along with food experts.”

Ms Shipra also added, “The thing I find funny about when some people travel is that they don’t really interact with the locals so much. It’s honestly the best part about travelling! You don’t understand how many wonderful people you can meet and most of all experiences that you might have by learning a bit of their culture, tradition, cuisine and even picking up certain local language and Malaysians have an excellent sense of humor.”

MasterChef Travel holidays was created by specialist travel experts, Cox & Kings Ltd., the world’s longest established travel company including both multi-centre tours and shorter single-centre trips across the globe.
