THE CHATEAU SPA & ORGANIC WELLNESS RESORT CONFERRED WITH ‘MALAYSIA’S BIGGEST WEDDING & EVENT GLASSHOUSE’ BY THE MALAYSIA BOOK OF RECORDS
PAHANG, 24 OCTOBER 2019 – La Serre Glasshouse at The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort has been officially awarded ‘Malaysia’s Biggest Wedding & Event Glasshouse’ by the Malaysia Book of Records. The award certificate was presented by the Director of Marketing of Malaysia Book of Records, Mr Jwan Heah to the Executive Director of Berjaya Land Berhad, Ms Chryseis Tan. The event was witnessed by the Director of Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Pahang, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Hj Idros Bin Yahya, accompanied by Chief Operating Officer of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Mr Foo Toon Kee.

La Serre, which literally means ‘glasshouse’ in French, is built on the space which was originally a maze garden for guests to unwind and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. It was then conceptualized by Puan Sri Esther Tan, to build a European-inspired wedding glasshouse to offer a romantic atmosphere with dream-like interior to capture the hearts of many couples. From the beginning, she envisioned a world-class architecture crafted primarily from clear glass in a clean-line design to seamlessly harmonize with the beautiful garden landscape of the resort and bathed in dappled sunlight. From selecting the finest quality imported furnishings to handpicked elegant European-concept granite floor design, she has been very meticulous in every little details of the glasshouse to ensure that the final product is the best in class.
As a result, this brainchild with an area of 585.29 square meters boasts an elegant architecture with stylish floor-to-ceiling glass panels to host luxurious weddings and premium events at the prestigious resort. Equipped with state-of-the-art 10.3 meter LED projection screen, glitzy crystal chandeliers and crisp audio system, La Serre is capable of delivering top-notch services and an exclusive ambience with retractable roof that opens up to an uninterrupted view of starry night, for a flawless destination event.
Foo also added that with this latest addition in Berjaya Hills specifically in The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort, it ramps up the standards in the tourism industry especially in term of providing luxury event space and services. La Serre is a versatile event space that is also suitable for any social or corporate events such as baby showers, marriage registrations (ROMs), premium product launches, gala dinner, and many more which can accommodate a capacity up to 350 people.
