Senior Training Manager

The Senior Training Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with the company’s goals and employee growth. This role oversees all training initiatives, including leadership development, onboarding, compliance training, and upskilling programs, ensuring continuous improvement of employee performance and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement company-wide learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the design and delivery of training programs including onboarding, technical skills, soft skills, compliance, and leadership development.
  • Conduct training needs analyses (TNA) to identify current and future skills gaps across departments.
  • Oversee the evaluation and effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department heads to tailor training content to business and functional needs.
  • Manage the annual training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of programs.
  • Lead a team of training specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Source and manage external training providers and consultants when necessary.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Drive the adoption of digital learning tools (e-learning platforms, LMS) and blended learning strategies.
  • Report on training KPIs and provide insights to senior leadership on development progress.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing corporate training programs.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
