We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Assistant Manager, Corporate Marketing & Communications to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our corporate image, managing internal and external communications and delivering marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and support business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to strengthen brand positioning and reputation.
- Create, edit and manage content for website, press releases, media kits, speeches, newsletters, announcements, and marketing collateral.
- Plan and execute media reviews, familiarisation trips, campaigns, events, collaborations and CSR initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, industry partners and key stakeholders to ensure positive brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Social Media Team to develop targeted and effective content, campaign ideas and platform-specific strategies.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing and communication activities, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities and emerging communication tools to enhance marketing strategies.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in PR, marketing, branding or communications roles, preferably in the hospitality or lifestyle industry.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Written and spoken knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and brand building.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail and adaptability.
