Buka Puasa with the Local Community in Masjid Jamek

Langkawi, June 2017 – Berjaya Langkawi Resort hosted the Buka Puasa with the local community to celebrate the spirit of Ramadhan at Masjid Jamek, Kampung Felcra, Pantai Kok on 8th June 2017, Thursday. The holy month brings an ambience of celebration and also good reflections of past events, tests of patience which gathers people from all backgrounds to embrace the simplest joys of life.

Mr. Chris Niuh, the Resort’s General Manager stressed by creating and bring back such atmosphere is very important where it reminiscence the good old days which is full of traditional values and practices.

He assured such events are also important in bolstering positive social relationships among employees outside the workplace with the local community.

With this in mind, this event was organized by the resort as a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility to strengthen relationship and to foster closer ties among the local community with the resort’s management.
