JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and executes properly on-strategy eCommerce priorities and tactics.
  • Make an arrangement with the Director of Sales & Marketing / General Manager to validate and track ecommerce goals for the hotel.
  • Reviews hotel progress against established goals periodically, provides reporting and analysis, and troubleshoots performance issues.
  • Manages budgets for eCommerce activities.
  • Assures that hotel websites and global sites are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines.
  • Identifies hotel-specific online digital activation needs (e.g., local channels to focus marketing efforts through).
  • Conducts regular audits to optimized for high quality custom images, content, links, and accurate translations; works with hotels on corrective action where necessary.
  • Identifies and executes hotel/cluster/area OTA marketing and merchandising tactics as needed (e.g. Agoda newsletter, Expedia TravelAds, etc.).
  • Review hotel performance on eChannels
  • Work with brand marketing team to position the hotel on digital channels.
  • Participates in regularly-scheduled global and regional eCommerce and Marketing web conferences and calls to review performance, share best practices, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Delivers a monthly report.
  • Stay up-to-date on and communicate industry and competitive trends, with a focus on the domestic online travel landscape.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree of Hospitality services, or in Business Administration, from a highly reputed university.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality sector, hotel, resort/ luxury country-club.
  • Strong command of the operations of restaurants and accommodations facilities.
  • Good understanding of procurement functions, pricing strategies as well as sales & marketing methods.
  • Able to work on weekends and long hours
  • Dynamic personality and creative mindset.
  • Full proficiency in English
  • Willing to be relocated at any of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • To submit weekly / monthly report detailing all sales activities with competitors’ survey.

  • Responsible for the work performance and efficiency of all employees under his supervision.

  • Sets up buffets, functions, etc. Ensure the food is hot for buffet and cocktail parties.
  • Order made only once a day and makes additional order only when extremely necessary.
  • Instructs incoming shift of things to be done in the afternoon.
  • Evening duties identical to morning duties.
  • Cooperates and delegates work properly. These are essential for the smooth operations of the production kitchen.
  • Perform any other duties as requested.
